SoftWall Textile products - fire retardant characteristics
molo’s textile softwall + softblock modular system, cloud softlight, urchin softlight and textile softseating, are made from a non-woven polyethylene textile sheet material, trade named Tyvek® by DuPont. Untreated Tyvek® is not fire retardant however, when exposed to flame, it shrinks away rapidly. If the flame is made to follow the shrinking sheet, Tyvek® will melt at 275° F (135° C) and if its auto-ignition temperature of 750° F (400° C) is reached, it will burn but zero smoke is developed. Due to a slow burn rated and zero smoke development, untreated Tyvek® meets “Class A” of the North American standard ASTM E84-05.
Softwall Kraftpaper - fire retardant characteristics
kraft paper softwall + softblock modular system is completely fire retardant and will not maintain flame. These products have passed the North American standard NFPA 701 and European standards M1 and B1. This rating is consistent with use in all types of occupancies. kraft paper softseating is also completely fire retardant and has been tested in accordance with the California Technical Bulletin 133 and complies with these standards proving suitable for use in all types of occupancies. All products should always be kept away from any open flame or heat source to avoid possible damage.
Softwall Modified Textile - fire retardant characteristics
molo soft collection modified textile products are completely fire retardant, and will not maintain a flame. modified textile softwall + softblock have achieved the European standards M1 and B1. These rating are consistent with use in all types of occupancies. All products should always be kept away from any open flame or heat source to avoid possible damage.
